Facebook is an ideal outlet for students to learn geography lessons through the exchange of information and images that pertain to geography subjects.

Students will be required to create a Facebook page on the concept of longitude and the major scientific discoveries that were the result of research . The assignment will also include a synopsis of the major scientists and political figures of the time and the roles they played in the search for effective navigation on the high seas.
