ePals is the world’s largest interactive network for K-12 students!  It provides a safe network for collaborative, project-based learning that is effective for teachers and students!

Epals - Over 200 plus countries connected at your hands for your classroom!  It provides an international approach to several subjects through projects.

Students are able to connect to others locally, nationally and even internationally!   It's brings light to issues that are going on around the world.  You are able to email and communicate to other students around the world to collaborate on projects presented by teachers.  Students are able to act as experts on real life experiences and share with others.  They also learn from others and become globally aware and connected.

Teachers can check out the several forums provided in ePals, find other classrooms that are compatible to their classroom and find pen pals for their students.  They can also design projects for their students as well as other students around the world.

ePals Mission:  is to "provide life long learning through collaborative experiences that empower and inspire!"

Project Based???

ePals is a form of project based learning. Each of these projects are standard based.  Choose a variety of global science projects.  From there you can connect with a classroom who fits your needs as a classroom.  You can than complete the project together through email communication also pairing your students with students from the other classroom.  Remember as the teacher you can choose which classroom from what country would fit your needs.

-  It is interactive and provides a social interaction that keeps the students engaged.

- It's important to keep the classroom active, interesting and learner centered, as well as focused on real life experiences through the other student's lives.

I changed and edited the last wiki by getting rid of images and adding my own information.
