Using Podbean in the Classroom
Using Podbean in the classroom is a good way to have English language learners practice speaking English, and practice listening to others speak English. Students could create a podcast on a topic, and practice talking in English. Then students could listen to a friends in the class and write a summary of what they listened too.
Also, a teacher could bring in podcasts to their lessons by having students listen to a podcast on a certain topic. If a teacher is doing a science unit, they could include a science podcast with their lesson this could help English Language learners with developing the concept by listening or watching someone else explain it. Also, listening for vocabulary words is another good way for ESL students to understand a concept. Podcasts for different topics are included below.
Introducing Podcasts to your students, may be something they will take interest in, and develop further outside the classroom. This would be a neat hobby for them to enjoy, and help practice their language skills.
