NASA

The NASA app is *FREE* and can be used for all ages!

The main page of the app has several sections to choose from.

There are thousands of images to view and each image provides a brief description.

You can also watch live NASA TV and view their Missions in detail, such as time in orbit!

This app can be used in the classroom several ways!
Younger students can look at an array of images and choose ones to "investigate" or search for specific images (e.g., Saturn).  Older students can research missions and watch the live NASA TV to gather more data.  Students who use the social media app Twitter can connect with NASA and tweet them, keeping up with NASA and their astronauts in real time. Overall, it is a great app where students can learn more about space and how NASA operates!
