Dynavox is a communication device that helps people that cannot communicate normally with other people around them.

Dynavox can use eye gaze, body movements, or finger touching to help people communicate. This is a little boy that is using the eye gaze system to ask for food.

The teachers are working with the little guy to get him to practice looking and asking for different things, but in the end he can only think about his tummy and wants the sugar snap peas.

These devices can support the students to learn right along with the class and contribute to class conversations. They can speak for themselves and advocate for themselves. I have used this devices in all different subjects but for the most part I have used them when they are used to get the student to communicate and ask for things by themselves and make their own decisions.
